Castle Family Commission
A family sculpture of the father and sons, depicting their family tradition of morning prayers before school. Don Castle sits center with hands folded in prayer. The father’s seventeen year old son, T.J., stands to his left and his younger son, Troy, at age fourteen stands close to his right. The loving mother stands just outside the composition, having commissioned the work to capture this private moment of their day. The composition captures the relationship of father and sons and their development into manhood with the blessing and wisdom of their father.
